I’m involved extensively with astronomy communication with the public, enjoying the challenge of conveying complex ideas in an easy-to-understand manner.

I currently serve as IAU Office for Astronomy Outreach National Coordinator for Indonesia.

What I Do

Communicating Science

I communicate science using various mediums, especially new media to engage lay people in learning and doing science.

Podcasting

I occasionally podcast about astronomy and culture, and host the Q&A session at 365 Days Of Astronomy.

Web Management

I developed langitselatan and all its related sites to promote astronomy in Indonesia. I also manage langitselatan and the 365 days of Astronomy Podcast.

Writing

I write mostly about astronomy on the langitselatan website. I covered various topic with specialty in extrasolar planet and planetary science.

Teaching

I teach astronomy as per request to laypeople, even though most of my students are kindergarten and elementary schools students.

Event Organising

I'm organising and managing astronomy events such as Star Party, Astronomy Trip, Tour, and Expedition, Seminars, Sidewalk Astronomy and various astronomy projects.
